It always amazes me how deep the conversations are that you have. My friends just talk about things like hunting or cars or music. We do have some friends who we can openly talk about finances with and that is nice, but all of these existential things aren't usually on the agenda.
Why aren't they on the agenda?
I think for me in my conversations, I am pretty open and honestly curious, so people end up opening up too. I reckon there are social norms that stop us from asking questions that we think others might be uncomfortable with asking.
I don't think it's about us being afraid to broach the topics. I think it just has more to do with us having other things to talk about. I don't know I guess.
