That's a good way of looking at it. I was thinking about a user the other day who pretty much just posts the same thing in different ways multiple times a week. I will have to dig into their posts a little more and look at it through this different lens.

True, aren't we all to some degree though? :)
Yes. But rather than farming, I see it as trading. We trade different values with each other that translates into HIVE on the blockchain. In a healthy system, the trade between participants is "fair" in the way that values are generated both ways. Some people offer very little, but expect to take a lot.
Fair enough, that's also a good way to look at it. Trading upvotes for knowledge, entertainment, or just a good laugh.
