I think part of it for us is the fact that we aren't getting any younger and we are already about halfway through with out time on this Earth. When you look at a four year cycle in reference to that, it is definitely easy to get impatient. What if we screw this one up or this one is over? We have to wait another four to five years? I'll have one foot in the grave by then!... Stuff like that. What I am learning though is while you are waiting for those peaks, you miss out on so much of the valleys. I'm trying to appreciate the valleys more.
I have one and a few toes in there already :D
This is something I am going to spend more time on in the next set of valleys. Lots of opportunity there, right?
Yes, I hate the feeling of living weekend to weekend even though the weekends are pretty great.
