That last part about having an AMA Is a great idea. Though I have a feeling most people don't really care about any of my anything! :) I have always told people who are just starting out to try and write a comment that asks a question. That way you can engage a bit more with the OP and maybe start one of those conversations that will turn into a long time connection.

Well it is a way to stimulate engagement. Over time, people will start caring because they will see the wisdom you have.
We all have our own experiences and knowledge. That is valuable.

Yeah, that is kind of what I have always thought. The fact that someone is posting about something means they have some knowledge of it. People like to talk about what they know :)
