RE: Hive Is Not Dying

in LeoFinance9 months ago

It is baffling how one can build anything truly decentralized on a centralized blockchain. It seems impossible. Some individuals treat Hive as a free bank or a printing machine, enabling them to generate large amounts of free internet money every day. This behavior raises concerns about the decentralization of Hive.

Despite claims that vote selling is not prevalent on Hive, there may instances where Hive power (HP), Hive dollars (HBD) or delegation is exchanged for votes. Also, comment farming is an issue, with some users inflating their reputation scores and engaging in fake interactions to gain rewards.

The trending page on Hive suffers from a lack of genuine engagement, with many users leaving insincere comments simply to earn rewards. This insincerity compromises the integrity of the platform. It's crucial to critically evaluate these issues and consider Hive from an external perspective.
