I just had one of the nices evenings since my wife passed. The granddaughter we here and they went trick or treating. They came back and spent a few hours here.
Bless the 7 year old, just before they left, she hugged me, told me she loved me and said "I wish nanny was here". Broke my heart but made me smile at the same time.
