They should be able to include the pay rise when adding more duties to you but if they didn't you need to call their attention to it

There is no right time.

My advice would be to do these things in writing (email) so there is a paper trail of your increased responsibilities, what you've asked for, what they've offered you and your results.

Yeah, I agree with Dane. Better to write the details on paper and send it to them.

Thanks. I will do that.

Because they're going to say no and give some bullshit answer saying 'you need to do x to get one'.

Then when you inevitably do 'x' in the coming months, you can go back to them with that in writing and say "see, payrise now plz".

Awesome 👌 fracking love that.

Seems like you took the words out of my mouth

Seeing that I just started my first offline j.o.b ever.....Right away?

Make sure I am able to perform the new duties above expectations first maybe.

When do you hit the road for the first time?

It depends but I'll wait at least a year before asking for a pay raise. It will give me sufficient time to make my argument.

That is a hard question. I guess when when they first put the responsibilities and let them know your intentions.

Then come back and remind them that you did well. At some point, you need to be paid for the increased work.

the more pressure and work they put on you, the means they are becoming confident in you and depend on you, so it's a good time to ask for a pay raise I think.
