My Daughter-in-law: Threadstorm. 1/

In June, I developed a rash on my both of arms. The rash on one of my arms went away but the other continued to grow. My GP initially thought it might have been psoriasis, so prescribed me a corticosteroid & sent me on my way.
Fast forward to July, I develop ALL over body pain; particularly in my arms, wrists and legs. My wrist & arm pain is so bad that most days I cannot even do the simple task of putting on my own bra.

Today, I had another appointment with my GP. He said, the rash on my arm is in fact NOT psoriasis. He’s sending me for tests(X-rays, bloodwork, etc). BUT he has a strong hunch this could be Multiple Sclerosis. I look back now, I have had A LOT of little telltale signs(worsening vision problems, low white blood count, EXTREME fatigue from pain, skin issues, which can also be a sign of multiple sclerosis). I suffered from what is called, “Devil’s itch” this summer, from a sunburn I got on my back. I wouldn’t wish that pain on my worst enemy. The episode left me delirious & in worse pain than unmedicated childbirth.

I am feeling scared, overwhelmed, sad …. Those are just SOME of the emotions I am feeling right now. MS can be scary & debilitating, but I am so thankful to my doctor who listened to me and never passed this off. He didn’t dismiss me and knows something is going on.
I am prepared to fight, it’s not in my blood to just lay down & give up - even though my body tells me otherwise. ✌🏻 🥹

end of storm.

This is a very interesting case, Bradley.
I hope they get her feeling better soon.

Personally, I would also rule out Lupus, but just my opinion.

It will be helpful to get an actual diagnosis so she can get proper treatment.

Hopefully that will happen. !BBH !DOOK
