My dear, once is Nigeria, nothing will be done about it because no one cares about good nir neath environment here. We can only try our best by keeping our environment

The system of government is making it difficult for development to creep in. I don't think anything can change as well.

both our government and we, individual have a great work to do so as to stop all these.

The government should start first, the people would follow suit. Should law and order be enforced and executed, there would be change. But we are not placing our trust in men though. They have nothing tangible to offer.

i think the government just need to set aside people to be taking care of things like this

When they haven't done the much simpler ones? They just don't know what they are doing.

This was the exact problem I saw in places I went to, most of the drains were blocked and this is causing flooding.

This is too much. Everybody is complaining.

It is worse in big cities.

How??

Due to the large volume of wastes generated and disposed of in drains.

People need to learn that it is wrong to put refuse in waterways. Even the biggest one we have at School road is filled with refuse and it blocks the water from flowing well.

Sometimes I don't understand how people reason. They'll still be the ones to suffer the outcome and complain.

Am telling you. Proper orientation is very important.

Littering is the sole cause of this problems, if there could be an enforced law against littering, there might be a difference.

When the government are not doing their part too? It's just a disease that would only end when those that should be examplary start showing how much people could learn from them.
