I disagree. Investors like a project having a front figure. It builds trust. Web3 savvy nerds probably don't like it that much but in the end, it's the valuation that matters

I think its a big weakness, just look at JP and how much he has divideded the TC community. Some love him, some hate him.
It shift the focus from what is important, the underlying code.
Why would I care who is the front figure for a dex? Has Uniswap a front face that everyone knows?
Yeah, obviously there's a risk of getting a bad front figure, a controversial figure but in most cases, I see it as a positive thing. A front guy doesn't necessarily have to be in charge and the platform can remain centralized, etc.
Will be interesting to see what happens. But aluuxx wasnt that keen on being a front figure for TC it seems.
In my opinion people tends to suck, and well written code doesnt 😅
