Is there some Hive node issues at the moment?
Everything is so slow right now, on Inleo (when checking notifications) and apparently on Ecency as well(when replying).
And it's not just today.
I'm a multi-chain person and never ever encountered so many issues than with Hive for the past 12 months anywhere else.
So, what's going on?
I don't know.
I'm experiencing the same.
Hope it gets fixed soon. And permanently.
A lot of technical upgrades and getting all the decentralized people onboard
I've said this many times but would be awesome to know about technical upgrades beforehand.
What's getting the decentralized people onboard got to do with issues?
yeah. Not going to happen.
if one node updates and the others don't you have issues.
If one app doesn't update to match the new nodes, you have issues.
😂😂😂 Oh, my... and not long ago users here were dissing Solana! 😅 Ridiculous.
this is why the top witnesses needed to be changed.
the change in the last 4 years means nothing changes
I'm beginning to think what Hive needs is the good old centralization 👍.
it needs to change the witnesses but everyone keeps delegating to them.
Hive is a dead token.
It's usually not the chain itself as far as transactions, but the API nodes that pull and display all the data get overwhelmed at times and slows things down. One main issue with this are all the pay and comment bots.
Yeah, I think the transactions work fine but it's more of a moving from one section to another or just starting the app. But it depends a lot on the app, different apps, and different issues. For example, writing this on Ecency now and I know it's gonna take a long time for the reply to go through. On Inleo I can't even enter the notification section sometimes.
Those bots then, pain in the ass in my opinion. They are just congesting the whole thing.
Yeah, it's all about the API nodes and the one being used. You should be able to go into the settings and change which one. The top nodes are all way over used, which causes these issues.
Thanks! I'll check that out. 👌
