If you are on a regular sleep cycle, like going to bed by a certain time and waking at a certain time, your brain will adapt to your circadian rhythm.
That usually indicts a restful sleep cycle.
That explains why it happens only occasionally since I haven't been focusing on that. But still, must have done something right! Making it a regular thing could be a goal for me. Sleep is important.

They are not really different, but rather not as developed as an adult.

My teenager swears that teenagers naturally stay away past "regular adult bedtime" because their circadium rythm is built that way naturally so that they could develop their own personalities while we are asleep.
I inwardly laughed but made no changes since she doesn't have a bedtime anyway.
