I fixed his macbook some years back when I was a tech at the Apple Store in Ft. Myers, FL. He was in town doing a stand up show. I asked him why he hadn't done anything and he said that Hollywood was full of trash and left really because of his religious beliefs. He said was was happier doing stand up because he could connect with people.
Ok! Well, I'm glad to hear it was his choice to leave and he wasn't cancelled because of his beliefs or anything like that. And he is probably right about Hollywood as well. Good for him!
He is absolutely right about Hollyweird. But yeah, that's why he didn't come back in the later Friday movies as Smokey. He had gone religious and didn't want to portray that kind of character anymore...
Yeah, can understand him. We all change at some point in life and maybe the joke 's not that funny any more then.

Oh, Chris Tucker? He decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an interstellar cabbage farmer. Last I heard, he's thriving on Planet Broccoli, harvesting the finest heads of space greens.
