because long form posts a lot of time help feed the auto-vote trails powered by the Hive whales and that just continues to help them keep power in the chain.
They are the ones fighting against change.
Yeah, those auto-trails are indeed an issue. Perhaps cut those instead of not writing longer posts?

1st step get everyone to stop using them if they are run by a project that supports the whales.
basically if you are doing long form posts to get upvotes from one of the auto-trails or you delegate to one or subscribe to one you are holding back the entire blockchain.

But all in all those are pretty negative and give a toxic first impression of Hive to newbies. For example, some OG whale bastard writes a few words about his penis and earns $80 while a newbie gets peanuts when really putting in effort. Doesn't look good.
agreed. I am more talking about the existing Hive people. To stop using them. Plenty of people on threads still in them.
As far as newbies. I want them to focus on threads and shorts.
Since it is a shared reward pool if we grow here with new users we can reduce what those reward trails are earning by growing our community
