Increase Your Results: 5 Pieces Of Advice For InLeo Newcomers

in LeoFinance2 days ago

The InLeo community has been growing rapidly! Thanks to everyone's efforts throughout 2024, we have been welcoming a lot of newbies to both Hive and InLeo, and the entire ecosystem is thriving.

InLeo pioneered the (Web 3.0 version of) short-form content, and it has worked wonders to increase engagement on the Hive blockchain. We have clear evidence now that token incentives and short-form content can be used to boost engagement on blockchain-based social media.

Lately, we have been seeing a lot of new faces (well, profiles) in the InLeo feed. In this article, we'll go over five tips newbies can apply to increase their results, as they get comfortable with the platform.

1. Upload A Profile Photo

Your first priority should be to upload a photo/picture to your InLeo account. This will set you apart from all the other users who are just using the generic image by default, and personalize your interactions with the community.

2. Add A Personal Touch

Are you sharing some recent news about the finance or crypto industry? Although relaying that kind of information to the community is certainly helpful, be sure to add your own personal touch to the bottom of your post. We want to hear your opinion on the news!

3. Write Long-Form Content

Leo Finance (now called InLeo) was originally a community geared towards long-form content, where members would write in-depth articles about finance and crypto.

Consider occasionally writing a long-form post, so that the community gets to know your thoughts, opinions, and motivations on a deeper level.

4. Post Consistently

Don't be discouraged if your first few posts don't get any likes or replies. People are less likely to interact with you if they don't know who you are. Don't let that stop you from expressing yourself!

Post consistently, regardless of feedback, so that the community gets to know you over a period of days and weeks. As people start to warm up to your content and personality, you will build a small following, and start to earn rewards.

5. Power Up

When you do start earning $LEO tokens from upvotes, you should power them up. You can do this by clicking the button beside your balance on the wallet page.

Not only will this increase your influence in the community, it will also show everyone that you are committed to InLeo's long-term success.

You could wait for the 15th of the month, otherwise known as Leo Power Up Day (LPUD), to do this. Announcing your power up to the community on this day may earn you a few extra likes 😉 .

Until next time...
