In the last two days, a bill passed in El Salvador making Bitcoin acceptance voluntary, rather than mandatory (to comply with the IMF).
In reality, the law was never enforced on businesses, and they were never afraid to reject payments in Bitcoin.
So far, not much has changed on the ground. The businesses that were accepting Bitcoin before are still taking it.
