I wanted to pay for yesterdays coffee with lightning Bitcoin but it failed 3 times with the error "recipient is not reachable"
Why is that? Is the network failing or was it a problem with the node? Seems like a $5.40 transaction shouldnt be a problem.
From what I understand, a path through the Lightning network wasn't able to be found. It has happened to me before at a restaurant in Bitcoin Beach.
But normally lightning payments work. If the business accepts them, that is.
