I like Litecoin and they have reason to be a little cocky! Over 13 years of 100% uptime! Pretty impressive and as a payment rail they are consistently the most chosen way to pay on BitPay.
As far as Solana goes it has marketed itself well and there is low fees and low friction and became a meme traders paradise. The Phantom wallet has been extremely popular and has been an overall good experience. Seems like Solana has resolved a lot of their issues from a couple of years ago. It was going down every month or so previously and seems like a lot of that was figured out. Is there still pressure from VC money? I would say yes and Solana, ICP, SUI, and several other projects have that scenario at play to some respect but they also have money to fund development and have a runway to develop through the bear markets.
SUI is somewhat pumping currently where as Solana and ICP have burned off at the moment. Feeling that down pressure in the meme space as well on Solana.
