Sigh, i had high hopes for Nostr. As i do with any web 3 social media thingy. I hope and pray that it will work.
For all of Neds shortcomings, he was correct in getting money to the developers and into the system.
Maybe, some day in the future, developers will be "tipped" enough to make a living. But tips usually never pay for your apartment, let alone compete with a programming job.
I fear that the real web 3… maybe web 4 development will come after the great internet rebirth. Where we stop using Arpanet and wires and cables. Then, the newInterwebz will be turned inside out, where everyone runs a server. The client - server model itself is written out, because the structure of the Interwebz is changed. The leaves talk to each other, and don't bother with the trunk at all.
