RE: The value of Hbd in my hometown

our electricity is not the same thing, your light is stable right? i mean 24/7, some areas here don't have light for good three days, and they may on it for 1 hour and never on it again till another two days time..

I also think your country is more safer, here it is very bad, lack of security

and as for the price in commodities
an average nigeria get paid 40 dollars in a month, so definitely cant go ahead to purchase 14 dollars worth of jean out of his 40 dollars..

so let say an average citizen of your country earns 2000 dollars per month, he will be able to buy it easily with 80 dollars right?

that is the difference

those working online from here are the lucky ones not those working in the country

it is similar

No, because in this country people have very high fixed charges. Not even included the costs for food.

True, wishing it was better for your country too

That won't happen here.

I know, it's just sick!

But again ... this was not what I was wondering. I know the situation is not comparable, I know it's sick, and I know that life is supposed to be much better in these regions of the world. It's okay though, I'm happy for you that you have the possibility of making it easier for you and for the ones you choose to help! That's what matters!

yea that is just it, even with the cheap life here, 85 percent of nigerians will grab the opportunity to leave the country if they have the chance... that is how bad it is i guess... they all like that your country where you think things are hella expensive...
