In this video, I talked about engagements. Engagement is a good medicine that keep what ever we do on the Blockchain in a good move. I have been hearing some persons saying that thread's is boring, so I asked one of them to tell me his reason.
it was quite unfortunate that his reasons were boring to me too... lol.

Engaging on the Blockchain: A Guide to Boosting Your Presence

As we close out 2024 on this last day of December, it’s essential to take a moment to reflect on the importance of engagement, especially for new users navigating the blockchain landscape. Today, I want to emphasize the importance of engagement in building a thriving community and fostering connections.

Understanding Engagement

Part 2/7:

Engagement on the blockchain is critical. Many new users make a few initial posts, only to disappear afterward for various reasons. One key issue I discovered through conversation with a new user was that they found trading, or "treading," to be boring. When I probed deeper, the reason became clear: the user was not receiving any comments on their trades. When I asked if they had engaged with others’ trades, their answer was a resounding no.

This scenario highlights a fundamental principle of engagement: if you want others to interact with your posts, you must first engage with theirs. The reciprocal nature of interaction is vital, and it can lead to a more vibrant, interactive experience for everyone involved.

Crafting Quality Threads

Part 3/7:

One aspect of engagement is the quality of your threads. For new users, how you introduce yourself through your trades can significantly influence the level of engagement you receive. A bland introduction—such as posting without a picture or lacking detail—will likely elicit fewer responses.

Instead, take the time to craft a more inviting introductory thread. A simple approach could include saying, "Hello friends, I am NewUser, and this is my first trade," accompanied by an image. Presenting yourself in this manner makes it easier for others to engage with your content.

Part 4/7:

Quality threads are defined by elements such as imagery, detailed descriptions, and a clear layout of your thoughts. Engaging content invites engagement, so it’s crucial to produce threads that others would want to respond to.

Strategies for Increased Engagement

For individuals wondering how to maintain a presence and increase engagement, the answer lies in actively participating in the community. Even if you feel you have nothing substantial to contribute, take the time to explore threads posted by others.

Part 5/7:

By scrolling through the "For You" feed or the "Latest" updates, you can find numerous threads that are ripe for interaction. Leaving thoughtful comments helps spark conversations and engages those users as well. The more you participate in other’s activities, the more visible you become, ensuring that your own threads receive attention in return.

Remember, engagement comes in many forms, and there is no shortage of opportunities to dive in. Even a simple like or comment on a friend’s post can boost your visibility in the community.

The Benefits of Engagement

Part 6/7:

Engagement is not only about responding to others but also about forming connections. As you engage more frequently, you naturally develop friendships within the community. These friendships often translate to a supportive network that will be quick to engage with your content, regardless of its perceived quality.

Moreover, actively engaging can elevate your presence in the blockchain ecosystem. Just like on social media platforms such as TikTok, where engaging content can lead to viral moments, your interactions can attract attention and recognition in the blockchain space.

Conclusion

Part 7/7:

So, as we wrap up 2024, remember that engagement is a key factor in your success on the blockchain. It is crucial for both new and old users alike. Don’t let perceived boredom deter you—take the reins and engage actively! By doing so, you will not only broaden your reach and visibility but also build meaningful relationships that enhance your experience in this digital community.

Engage, engage, engage! As we step into the new year, let’s commit to fostering a vibrant, interconnected ecosystem together.

Thank you for being a part of this journey, and here’s to a successful, engaging new year ahead!
