As they execute their plan, unexpected challenges arise. Guan Shing discovers a secret tunnel that could lead to victory but has to postpone entering it until nightfall. During a moment of respite, he comforts Fing, reassuring her of their success, even as danger looms.

When the mission resumes, a fierce battle erupts. Guan Shing’s team bravely takes down guards and prepares for confrontation, though they quickly discover the villainous Pan Jang has laid a trap. In the ensuing chaos, Guan Shing finds himself imprisoned by his enemy, with only a simple villager to aid him from his cell.

Realizing he must escape, Guan Shing cleverly deceives the villager into helping him. Meanwhile, X Song and the others risk their lives to rescue him, facing Pan Jang's forces with unwavering courage. However, tragedy strikes as X Song is mortally wounded during their efforts.

Part 8/9:

With time running out and Pan Jang's forces closing in, Guan Shing hatches a daring plan to breach the cave wall, creating a path back to Ying Water Village. Chaos ensues as Guan Shing and Pan Jang confront each other in a climactic duel. In the aftermath, the Shu army claims control of Ying Water Village, marking a monumental turning point in their struggle.
