I don't understand the desire by some to spread misinformation about Covid. The measles had a death rate of 1 in 10,000 before vaccinations nearly wiped it from the face of the earth. That is only 0.01% way less than the 2-3% COVID has been running with. 400 deaths per year in America before vaccinations vs. 500,000. I appreciate a good conspiracy theory as much as anyone (Paul McCartney died in 1964 and was replaced with a look alike!), but spreading misinformation about a deadly disease already has cost lives. Not sure that was your goal with this post or maybe it was an attempt to provoke thought.

Only point I'm trying to make is that the very fabric of society has broken down to the point that nothing can actually be trusted. You just threw a bunch of stats at me. Where did those stats come from? Why are you trusting that those stats are accurate in an environment like this? How do we know the data isn't being manipulated to turn a profit in a digital economy that is designed to manipulate data to turn a profit?
Falling deeper down the rabbit hole, why is saving lives important? How many people should the Earth have on it? If the answer is less than there are now, why would we put so much effort into keeping people alive longer?
The people in charge pretend to care about these things. They don't care. They tap into people's emotions with slogans like "think of the children" and "what about grandma!" under the guise that they legitimately care. They don't. They are manipulators.
