Who would have thought that a coin based on the chain of blocks would exceed the price of its "father" so to speak.
But honestly it's not surprising, since the LEO team has been working very hard for several months now to make this project grow. A lot of development, a very viable roadmap that they know very well what they want to do now and in the future, a lot of marketing and investment.
The opposite of hive that doesn't know where it's going.
From the moment that "hive" separated and took different directions from its brother "steem", the enthusiasm and the desire to see a solid decentralized project with a fairly large user base full of valuable communities, we felt that this was what we had been waiting for years ago when we gave everything for "steem" and so much work and effort was useless because we saw that the price of the currency was going down each time and the development was slow and honestly we had no direction.
I am not a pessimistic person at all, I am rather an eternal optimist and I blindly believe in this project in which I have been part of for almost 4 years. I have built an excellent community full of wonderful people who give their all to live and be part of the @stemsocial team and it is a great honor and I will continue working to make this community grow much more.
But I can't lie and right now I feel disappointed about what is happening at hive. There are many enthusiastic people who love this platform, but what hive lacks is real leadership, and a good roadmap.
A lot of blah blah and nothing happens, the price is going down, the volume of trade is going down, we don't attract the attention of big companies that can invest in this platform, this looks like 2019 when steem was slowly dying.
I know very well that a lot of people will criticize me for what I am writing, but we must open our eyes and do something now because otherwise when?
As I mentioned before, I believe in hive, in its people, in its communities, and the future will tell what will happen, right now hive is very underrated, but what is the use of saying it all the time if we are a social network that only has 5000 active users and if we compare ourselves as facebook, instagram and twitter, we are total strangers.
The steem has a higher price than hive and that should make us sad, because at this point it is so that the steem would be totally dead and a greater volume of commerce and transactions are handled in the blockchain steem than in hive.
Bad, very bad
I think that's all I'm going to say, I have many more things on my mind, I just wanted to blow off some steam.
Take the example of LEO and do things the way they should be done. A roadmap NOW! is what we need, less talk more action!
