Having been through one of the toughest Christmas ever, I have learnt to appreciate the small things.
Also, I quit smoking after over 20 years of smoking. Incredible what 2 blood clots in the lung can do.

I hope 2024 is a better year for you. Congrats on quitting. !PIZZA
That's a very difficult thing to go through, but good for you for quitting this while you could still make it out alive. You're going to have an increased risk of blood clots for life... but hopefully with a better lifestyle and lifelong medications you won't ever have to go through this horror again. 🙏 Have a far better 2024!
I would have preferred to quit without this little incident, but at least something positive came of it 😊
Doctors told me about the increased risk, but I'm not too worried actually. Just feel really beat because it happened but the increased risk isn't an issue for me.
Thank you for your uplifting words, buddy! 🫶🏼
Good for you. Funny how life challenges give and teach so much at times.
It's true. Great to see your positive thoughts on this 🫶🏼 #thankyou #freecompliments
I'm so sorry to hear that. Slowly thing will get better for you, you quit smoking and is gonna be fine after sometime, be sure to have someone close to you to talk to and try not to be alone in this abstinence time, it might get rough.
Surprisingly the only thing that makes me want to have a smoke is the fact that I can't. My body doesn't need or want it at the moment. Easiest quit in history of quitting 😂 Thank you for the great advice though, it could prove to come in handy once I'm actually able to smoke. This "force quitting" is the worst 😆
thanks god you stopped... I know people that died with lung cancer and continued to see them smoking between chemo treatments!
I should quit too! Get better soon! Go to Davos! Best place for good air.
I have two blood clots you can have for free. They'll make you stop whether you want it otlr not 😂
No thanks, I am good.
At least you got your humor ;)
Are they going with medication to unclot or do you need surgery?
I get that. It's a terrible way to stop. This way of stopping makes me want to smoke - ironically.
And the humor is important, otherwise I would have never gotten through the hospital time.
Currently I'm on medication to make the blood thinner and then they should dissolve themselves. Otherwise it's more aggressive medication, but I hope it's enough as it is.
Everything better than to get cut open.
Definitely do whatever it takes to quit... it's truly one of the deadliest habits known to man. Make this your time, and buy yourself healthy time on earth. 🙏
