I don't have numbers to back this up, but I feel like there is more overlap between P2E gamers specifically and content creators. If you look at all the Splinterlands and Rising Star blogs on HIVE, most of those authors probably wouldn't be posting about Call of Duty on WordPress. The is something exciting about playing a game that pays you in crypto and then posting an NFT giveaway article or pack opening video on that game, using the same blockchain that will also reward you for content.
These gamers and authors are hustlers, hungry to be self sufficient, and they understand that Web 3 is they key; HIVE gives them the full package. I only see their numbers, and HIVE's popularity, increasing as inflation and the wealth gap continue to rise in the rest of the world!
You could be correct about that, I am not sure.
The reason I said what I did is we have not seen the numbers go up much in spite of Splinterlands massive onboarding. That seems to me like many arent posting what is happening in the game other than people were here before.
