The Mets showed they are a good team who are not going away quietly. They are throwing Buehler at the Mets in Game Three and we have Severino going. Mets will be at home. I don't see the Mets winning all three at Citifield. There is no way the Dodgers would choke that bad.
I have to agree with you. If the Dodgers do not win it all this season I can't see Roberts coming back. Honestly, it would be insane. You have to bring in another manager just to see if it's Roberts or oddly enough the makeup of the team outside of Betts and Ohtani.
Max Muncy has always been the key. He's not the same after his injury. when he hits and walks they win. When he's out or not hitting the whole team suffers.
That Freeman ankle injury can't be helpful either. I'm sure he's playing a sizeable chunk under 100% Just found out earlier that Nimmo is battling plantar fanciatis but like Freeman he will continue playing.
