First Gladius Pack Opening

I finally did it; I have saved enough Merits to buy my very first Gladius pack. Yes, it’s nothing special and anyone could accumulate enough Merits through the loot chests and Brawl. But as someone that had only joined a guild not too long ago, opening my first Gladius pack was a milestone.

So what did I pull from that single Gladius pack? Let’s find out together.

1.PNG

Krash Wanderford (Common)
This card was my first pull and a great support card that gives all of my monsters the “swiftness” which adds one speed to their speed stats. It also has another ability called bloodlust that increases the monster’s stats by one every time it defeats another monster. Bloodlust is a great ability to have except that it’s useless on Krash as it has not attack.

Alfredo (Rare)
Alfredo is my first rare Gladius card. It is a range attacker that only requires 2 mana to use which mean that it’s good in low mana battles. Alfredo only has the bloodlust ability which is common to all Gladius cards but since it only requires 2 mana, one could insert it to any lineup.

Palidon Rakk (Rare)
My second rare card, Palidon Rakk is a tank and a damage dealer. With 3 melee attacks and 12 Health, Palidon Rakk is a good choice to use in the front line. Although the 7 mana requirement is high, it’s still a good choice especially in all melee rulesets.

4.PNG

Bertrol Gobson
Another low mana card that can fit in any lineup. Bertrol Gobson is a nice card that only requires 2 mana to use. But despite only being a 2 mana card, it has two abilities: Bloodlust and Opportunity. Since it has opportunity, one could put it in any position, coupled with Bloodlust, this 2 mana card can became quite a headache in the battlefield. I think I’ll be using this card a lot in my Fire deck.

Alva the Crusher
Another common card with two abilities. Alva the Crusher is without a doubt a frontliner with its Shield ability that could half all melee and range damage. Although it’s just a common card, its abilities makes it a lot better, than say, Living Lava. Although it inflicted one less damage compared to Living Lava, its other stats are better, not to mention that it has Bloodlust. This card would be good if paired with Tarsa or other summoner that increases a monster’s melee attack.

Overall, I’m quite satisfied with my pulls. Although there’s no epic or legendary card in the pack, I was still able to get two rare cards which are nice. Also, just in case you’re wondering, the total value of the pack according to Peakmonsters’ explorer is $2.55 which seemed nice but considering that the cards cannot be sold (only burn for DEC), the price is quite misleading.

Anyway that’s all I have for now. Thanks again for reading.

Cheers!
