My home office... Just kidding. I wish. Maybe my Litecoin Punk will make me retirement money in a few years. I can hope.

Sort:

Litecoin has punks??? Serious?!?

There is also a collection of Punks on Dogecoin. Crazy right?

Those went from pennies to about a $32 floor price, and one alien rare went for over $1000 the other day.

What?? over 1k?? wow.
Everytime i think i am up on things. i learn something new.

By 1k I mean the inscription number. Basically Ordinals are "etching" art or text onto an individual satoshis ( or litoshi for Litecoin). It started at inscription 0 and on both BTC and Litecoin there are tens of millions of inscriptions. The lower they are the earlier they are.

Litecoin Punks were all under the first 1000 inscriptions on Litecoin.

And don't worry, there's way too much happening in crypto too fast to catch it all.

A year in crypto is like a light-year in real time.

I will say that this year the developments on Bitcoin,Litecoin and Doge have been absolutely incredible. It's epochal in scope, a Cambrian explosion of sorts.

It's well worth checking out, and I'm happy to give you pointers. I'm passionate about this stuff.

Litecoin has a whole Ordinals ecosystem. It's less developed than the one on Bitcoin but it exists.

I managed to get a Litecoin Punk on auction back in early March, sub 1k inscription.
I wrote this guest piece back in April. Hope it helps give an overview. The Punks are the cover image.

it's good that you are using #crypto as a retirement plan. And I am sure that you are making the right choice

Thank you. I never had a lot of money so I had to make decent bets. There are no guarantees though. It's all a patience game.

These days I only buy stuff I see as surviving 5-10 years out, and use a very small percentage of my capital for high risk/high reward plays, which in my eyes are 100% Ordinals,Stamps,BRC20 tokens, Bitmaps etc.

How about you?
