Hello everyone, todays post will be all about Racing on the BHR game on Hive. After reading this post you will be ready to race as soon as you buy your first horse. If you haven't already joined BHR, please use my referral link to join and read my beginner guide to learn how to get started on BHR.

Finding Races
To find a race you will need to click on the Dashboard tab on the top right corner of the home page.
Then you will need to hover over the Horse NFT you want to sign up for a race. Click the middle button to open up this screen.
You need to make sure it says your Horse is ready, unless you wont be able to join a race. Then click on Show Careers to show the races that are available to join.
Once you have found a race you would like to enter, click the Entry button. Make sure you have enough tokens for that specific race, the entry tokens vary. Once the transaction is confirmed you are all set.
Now We Wait
Now we have to wait until the race fills up. Keep an eye out for races that are almost full so that it will start & finish faster and then you can race even more. Since I've been playing, races have filled up fairly quickly. Only a few take a couple of days to fill, just be conscious if you only have 1 horse.
How to Understand Race Results
To check your race results click the Race Results tab on the home screen.
Then when this page comes up, you have to click on the race you had entered and that has finished. You will know your race is finished when it says Close at the end. I usually check this on HE explorer since i have multiple horses and its hard to remember.
Once you find the race you were in, click it and the results will pop up. Now is the interesting part, how to figure out how you won or loss based on the numbers.
Here is how racing goes according to the White Paper.
So this basically means everybody can win a race if RNG is on their side. Of course you can put yourself in a better position but that doesn't guarantee you the win for the race. A you see in this race, an uncommon got 8th place. This is were you see the stats of you Horse.
Prizes
The BHR team, in collaboration with the community, has sought to ensure the fairest possible prize distribution for all participants. As a result, the following tables have been proposed.
Resting
After every race your horse needs to rest. Depending on the your placement, that time will vary. See chart below. After your horse is finished resting you can enter in another race. Dont forget to Train your horse after every race.

Helpful Tips for Racing
- Make sure your Horse has the best food, or at least is fed the main food and 2 special treats to give it a HP boost.
- Make sure to train your horse before starting a new race. After each race, you qualify for a training session.
- Cross your fingers and toes and hope RNG helps you 😂🤣
- Check you prize winnings on HE explorer. Remember if you finish 8th place , you DO NOT win a prize but you do win a free training session and Special Chest fragments or full chests depending on the amount of the race entry.

Encontrar carreras
Para encontrar una carrera, deberá hacer clic en el botón Dashboard en la esquina superior derecha de la página de inicio.
Luego, deberás pasar el cursor sobre el Horse NFT en el que deseas inscribirte en una carrera. Haga clic en el botón central para abrir esta pantalla.
Debes asegurarte de que diga que tu caballo está listo, a menos que no puedas unirte a una carrera. Luego haga clic en Mostrar Carreras para mostrar las carreras a las que está disponible unirse.
Una vez que haya encontrado una carrera en la que le gustaría participar, haga clic en el botón Entrada. Asegúrate de tener suficientes fichas para esa carrera específica, las fichas de entrada varían. Una vez confirmada la transacción, estará todo listo.
Ahora Esperamos
Ahora toca esperar hasta que se llene la carrera. Esté atento a las carreras que están casi llenas para que comiencen y terminen más rápido y luego pueda correr aún más. Desde que juego, las carreras se han llenado bastante rápido. Solo unos pocos tardan un par de días en llenarse, solo ten cuidado si solo tienes 1 caballo.
Cómo Entender Los Eesultados de la Carrera
Para verificar los resultados de su carrera, haga clic en la pestaña Race Results en la pantalla de inicio.
Luego, cuando aparezca esta página, debes hacer clic en la carrera en la que participaste y que finalizó. Sabrás que tu carrera ha terminado cuando diga Cerrar al final. Normalmente reviso esto en HE Explorer ya que tengo varios caballos y es difícil de recordar.
Una vez que encuentres la carrera en la que participaste, haz clic en ella y aparecerán los resultados. Ahora viene la parte interesante, cómo saber cómo ganaste o perdiste en función de los números.
Así son las carreras según el Libro Blanco.
Básicamente, esto significa que todos pueden ganar una carrera si el RNG está de su lado. Por supuesto que puedes ponerte en una mejor posición, pero eso no te garantiza la victoria en la carrera. Como ven en esta carrera, un poco común obtuvo el octavo lugar. Aquí es donde ves las estadísticas de tu caballo.
Premios
El equipo de BHR junto a la comunidad ha buscado la forma de que la premiación sea la mas justa posible para todos los participantes y por esto se han propuesto las siguientes tablas.
Descansando
Después de cada carrera tu caballo necesita descansar. Dependiendo de su ubicación, ese tiempo variará. Consulte el cuadro a continuación. Una vez que tu caballo haya terminado de descansar, podrás participar en otra carrera. No olvides Entrenar a tu caballo después de cada carrera.

Consejos Útiles Para Competir
- Asegúrate de que tu caballo tenga la mejor comida, o al menos reciba la comida principal y 2 golosinas especiales para darle un impulso de HP.
- Asegúrate de entrenar a tu caballo antes de comenzar una nueva carrera. Después de cada carrera, te clasificas para una sesión de entrenamiento.
- Cruza los dedos de las manos y de los pies y espera que RNG te ayude 😂🤣
- Compruebe sus premios en HE Explorer. Recuerda que si terminas en octavo lugar, NO ganarás un premio, pero sí una sesión de entrenamiento gratuita y fragmentos de cofres especiales o cofres completos, según el monto de la entrada a la carrera.

Great Blog. Keep it up. I'm following you and your tips for this game. Super easy and i noticed i have to hit the refresh button a lot but everything is there. Lots of different tokens for prizes and entries makes it interesting. So far i have Won 1st place and that was exciting.
