I mean currencies like USD, GBP and EUR don’t lose as much purchasing power over time when compared to emerging market currencies like the Rand or any of these other sovereign currencies who don’t get preferential treatment from the IMF and the world bank

A USD might by you less than it did last year but a Argentine peso gets you even less after a year

So while they all going down in our Purchasing power, relative to one another the bigger currencies are the best of a bad bunch
