During a random conversation with an old acquaintance of mine ( who is doing very well in his career ) , He told this yesterday " You cant be creative when you are poor , So you need to get rich first and then be a philosopher " .
This got me thinking for a while yesterday .!!!

Some poor people are quite creative wouldn't say they can't. However this statement does have an impactful resonance of richer creativity where more resources certainly do help.
Yes having more recourses do help to elevate the level of creativity .!!!
I disagree, you have to be even more creative when you are poor as you can't just throw money at problems (which isn't always working neither, but it usually helps)

Well ..I used to believe that when i was a bit younger and I think it changes depending on your perspective .!!! But coming from a middle class family from India . I ll have to say i am definitely more creative when my bills are paid and am more stress free .! #freecompliments
I would describe myself as middleclass as well, so maybe I got a 'wrong' perspective. But I think it just depends how you would describe being creative. Creative problemsolving, I bet poor people are champions.
If it means philosophy, art, paintings, yea, maybe rich would have more time to think about that.

Hey I dont think you have a wrong perspective . Just Different , And btw i was talking about art and music since I am a musician .! Because there has been times where my lack of income or other financial problems has affected my music and creativity .
I meant different as well, 'wrong' as I am not poor/rich so hard to speak in their place. In terms of art and music, I kind of agree. Maybe it has more to do with people's mindset. Maybe Worried people are less creative

I think the amount of money you have changes the paths of creativity available to you, but doesn't change how creative you are.
My father is VERY creative at getting things for cheap and solving his problems with little to no money, but he can't sing, draw or 'write' to save his life!
