ETH Price Soars, Hits New All-time High As CME Launches Future Contracts

Future contracts for Ether's ETH have been launched by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) after announcement by December last year. The opening price for the trading on Sunday was $1,669.95. Ether Futures uses reference rates from top exchanges like Kraken, Gemini, Bitstamp, iTBit, Coinbase. The projects, dapps and and smart sontracts built on the Ethereum Blockchain have contributed in ETH mooning.

ETH has hit new All-time high today again after topping $1700 mark few days ago, It has now reached a new ATH of $1,776.47 around 6pm according to Coindesk with a 24hour change of 9.98%. The current price is $1,715.86. With the future contracts kickoff, more investors and institutions are going to consider investing in the world's second ranked coin.

As Bitcoin prove continues the bullish trend, there is the tendency that ETH will take part in the rally and hopefully attain new all-time highs.
