Perhaps something was lost in translation. I didn't think "many or most" don't know that. The words I used were if and some. That's more like gaslighting than a straight forward question.
Or, is he speaking for "many or most," claiming they don't know, and asking me why they don't know things? If that's the case, in order to answer properly I can only state the obvious, since I can't speak for "many or most". The information is available, so if they don't know, it's most likely because they didn't take the time to learn.
