As an Individual, we always wants to learn new things to advance in your career of if we want to be better at something. For example, if you are an IT professional you want to learn new skill set to be job ready for the future. Next is if you want to become better financially, you need to learn personal finance. If you want to be good at trading, you should learn trading strategies.

The problem is though these skills are warily available freely, people usually get into a course trap and get into paying heavy amount. For example, a lot if finfluencers sell their courses at high price but in reality they just bundle every thing in a new packet and present to us. So someone who doesn't know how to search or doesn't create a road map usually gets into the course trap and eventually pays a heavy sum.
Along with thar their is one more scenario is that you only do course without actually implementing anything. I know someone who usually do gell lot of course, and he is quite knowledgeable theoretically. But he never applied his theory and thus their is no actual gain from the courses. For example, if you have learned trading strategies but never actually traded then their is no point in your learning. Similarly if you have learned aomething but never used then what's the point in learning.
And that's why I usually tell everyone that take a course but try to build something from that course. If you have learned trading strategies, try to trade even though you lose or gain. If you have learned programming language, try to create some apps from that programming language so that your learning will not go into waste. And I would suggest not go for expensive courses, everything you can get for free or you can get it in less price from Udemy or other course site.
