The low price of the Hive is worrying for many, but not for those who actually think about long term. In the longer run, Hive will surely touch new ATH, that's what I think. I am thinking about long term and thus bought around 1500 Hive since the price of Hive is so lucrative. Along with that, one more milestone is that I will be completing my 3 years on the blockchain tomorrow, so you can say it might be gratitude too for the chain.
This is my 2nd power-up in the last 1 month, previously I have powered up around 1100 HP, and now its 1500 HP. I could have added more by just converting my HBD to Hive, but I am keeping some liquid Hive for playing @dcity. If you have not started playing dCity, do have a look, though you need to be a little cautious because the game can empty your wallet since the game is so tempting to play.
The last 30 days seems to be good for me in terms of Author Rewards too, though it's not too much (like others), it's ok for me and hopeful that I can continue to earn more or less the same amount every month. My main goal, as well as immediate goal as of now, is to touch 10000 HP, which I guess will take some time (Curation + Author) like 6 months or so if I am not buying Hive. The last 30 days also seem to be good for me in terms of writing because I am somewhat regular, and I wanted to remain like that in the future too. But I don't want to commit about the future, as of now the present is looking good.
As of now, my account has 8658 HP, i.e. around 1400 HP more required to reach 10000 HP mark. Some liquid Hive and HBD is also there to convert if in case the price rises or to invest in day. I have also delegated 500 HP to @indiaunited, which seems to be a very good passive income because IndiaUnited is curating some good posts and they are earning really well. So, if you have some spare HP then you can also think of delegating it to @indiaunited account. Though the name suggests India, we curate good posts all around, do check it out.
Even if I will be completing 3 years on the blockchain, my posts writing seems to be very less as compared to many. I have written 642 posts till now which is around 0.6 posts per day. Though it's not too less, it can be improved going forward and I am working on that.
One of the driving forces of powering up is also that, this is Proof of Stake platform which means the more Hive Power you have the more Hive you can generate by curation. Also from the last month or so, I have also stopped upvoting myself, this is just to use that 100% vote to upvote others than to ourselves.
First of all, congratulations on completing 3 years on the Hive. It will take a few more months for my third year anniversary here.
1500 Hive is so cool, it is almost like 28,000 Rs if I'm not wrong. That's a big investment. I personally stopped bringing FIAT into Hive anymore. Sometimes I used to think that I should invest around 1 or 2 lakh in one shot here to make use of the PoS system but then I used to remember the investment I did when the price was at 5$, 2.5$, 1$ and then 40 cents. Thinking about all that makes me reconsider bringing in anymore FIAT from outside.
This is one of the reasons why I always wanted to increase my stake here as well. I haven't done cashing out even once here. All the income from the chain is either powered up or invested in games like Splinterlands and dCity. Having a good stake here helps in terms of networking as well as getting more attention.

Nice, I did the same, powered up 2300 hive yesterday plus the same amount a couple of days ago.
I am looking for the long term now. An year or two maybe. Till then I will be buying whenever I will feel the price is low.
Also, @indiaunited is doing good work, will look to delegate some of the hive power to them.

That's great to know, I feel when you have some stake then it's actually good somehow because you have many options to earn either by curating or delegating.

Writing daily is a good thing to set as a goal. The hive which comes with it is just bonus.I have found so many quality nice people here that even if Hive would not reach to the sky, I would still post daily for the way it makes me feel.

Actually I have not added Fiat money it's just some BTC investment which I have moved to Hive, that is I have rebalanced my Crypto portfolio. I am hopeful that it will go up. Even though if it reaches 0.50, I will double my investment.
I am also thinking of adding some more when it reaches 0.15. and yes having more power gives you more money eventually. Even if the money of Hive goes down you can recover it using APR.

That's great. Just noticing your comment. I'm also planning to start investing on other coins gradually. I always think about diversifying the portfolio. I might buy a few Ether and hold them. But the problem with other altcoins is that it won't give us any returns for just holding them.
I might start focusing on other projects after my goal of reaching 10k HP. That's what I'm thinking about. dCity also looks like a promising investment. But ya let's see. 🙂
