A lot of people usually start with thinking they should have 1 Crore portfolio. And everyone of us wants to achieve this as soon as possible in our life because after that compounding takes place and then we can acheive the higher amounts later. Now the problem is people have not started to think only about 1 Crore now. I know for middle class 1 Crore is a big amount.

But now the finfluencers have started going up and beyond. Now they have started showing that you can have the 100 Crore portfolio. But the problem is you have ti continue working and investing. And how much you have to invest just 3 lakhs per month. A lot of people doesn't earn that much and thus they are talking about investing that much.
Now the problems is people usually don't want to go till that much portfolio. Because they want to retire early. Now the main think people look for financial freedom more than a lot of money in the portfolio. If you have a portilfio of 4 Crore and above then you are usually look for retirement and don't think about earning more because then you want to spend time with your family and other things.
And that's why as of today we are not sire how many people are actually ready for the 100 Crore portolfio or even 10 Crore portfolio. A lot of middle class family just wants to have atleast 1 Crore portfolio and they are set because that's actually huge money for them. If you have 1 Crore and then keep it in FD you can easily earn 8 Lakhs per year which can easily give you Rs 65K which is enough for a family of 4 in a tier 2 or tier 3 cities. And if you have 5 Crore then you can anyway retire in Tier 1 city too.
