RE: Leo Talk 4/02/2021 -Come Join Our Chat

These days I feel to lazy to celebrate a post, considering the fact that I have a lot of going on in my head, exams to prepare for, day to day activities to take care of and so on, and in Leo, I just tend to read posts an he give comments then I walk straight here.

I tried working on a post yesterday, and it was like my brain was blank so I backed out. It's Better saying nothing than to blab nonsense. But at the same time I get really concerned about not being able to create contents this days

Don't worry. It happens to everyone and I myself am not really the type of person to create posts as much. I honestly prefer commenting more but I am trying to get into the habit of making more actual posts. I have to put in some effort if I want to fill up my bags.

Ok, I just feel not that convinient any time I don't really engage, it feels like I am waiting my time

Yea, I feel the same way. I find it hard to keep a constant production but I know I won't get better if I don't keep trying.

The first step to being good at something is being really bad at it.

You know what I do? I have an "unfinished posts" folder on my laptop where I drop post ideas. Some of them are just text files of working post titles that I come back to when I have ideas. Some contain just a line or two or even a paragraph that I add to when something comes to me.

I don't put a lot of pressure on myself to write for the sake of it. So what happens is that posts get added to little by little, unless I suddenly feel a burst of creativity. It seems that most people sit down and try to build Rome in a day in one post.

Writing should be fun, not work. You're right to create when you have something to say. I take frequent breaks when writing and edit frequently. This gives me the space to be inspired by what's around me. I think it's one of the reasons I'm so productive late at night.

I've had an entire day to soak up the world around me and then can crystalize points of view in the quiet of the evening. Things will come to you at just the right time and you'll feel a burst of creativity as a content creator. :)

This is a great idea. I might also have to do so. Write a little bit when I want then post it when it is finished.

That's a smart idea! I remember thinking how I wish there was a similar feature built-in the leofinance frontend. But your thing is a smart and easy replacement for that. I shall try it out!

I actually bought a book to make jottings when ever I have ideas, seemed like I have been far from the book lately, I actually do have things to settle before the end of my exams, probably why I can't think straight when ever I feel like creating contents, all that should be over soon.

I know what you mean, sometimes I start a post and then delete it because it looks like a rant or just babbling about nothing. I still try to post once a week so I'm not forgotten. It took years to build relationships with people that stick around, and even though I don't need the rewards anymore it's nice to keep up with it and stay active.

Exactly, I don't want to post just because of posting sake, or just because of rewards. I need to really have something to say before I say something, and when it seems like I got nothing to say, it gives me headaches and makes me feel like I am being irrelevant on the platform

I agree , sometimes I also don't get any particular project on which I can analyze to be honest . These are the bad days which we must be okay with and push forward . Finish up your exams , I am sure you will be able to write good posts after that .
