Any week where I manage to earn a reward card is pretty much a good one even though values are extremely low and there isn't that much of an outlook for Sorare to get into a bull run even though the game is super fun. The constant printing pressure is just way too high while lower rewards don't really make players want to buy more which can be seen in the heavily declining earnings from Auctions.
Basically something need to be done to make assets more valuable again. Right now, Sorare is nothing more than a lottery in the form of a Football Fantasy game where the only real way to earn is to get lucky to earn one of the top prizes with a relatively cheap team. Since the start of the season in July, my account value has gone from 2033€ to 1141€ which includes all prizes that I won which is -892€ so it's pretty much cost me 50€ weekly to play which is ridiculous.
There is currently a Neon Christmas 'promo' going on where a box can be opened daily which is rather underwhelming as the best to get is 1 Limited essence with most boxes giving some kind of raffle ticked or a discount on purchases.
All this said, I still enjoy the actual game but unless something is done to prevent assets from trending toward zero, I would say Sorare is dead and has no real chance to survive aside from possibly a temporary hype pump which would be the time to get out. This said, I do see Sorare as an expense and a gamble and not as an investment.
Regular Season Week 17 Rare Results
This week once again showed how vitally important it is to have a max score on your Captain. Watanabe who also is at max level got me 161 points which lifted everything up and allowed me to win a card even though my keeper only scored 28 points and 2 players were below 60.

New Week Rare Lineups!
It's another week where I don't feel I have the players or the matchups to really put together 1 team that is really strong fighting for a prize so I will need to get extremely lucky again. Especially when it comes down to strikers, I have too few sure starters that don't rely on having to score.
Limited Teams & Results
I only had a couple lineups that gave some boxes which didn't include much. The highest score was 369 points mainly again because I had Watanabe at 162 points as my captain. 50% is simply too high of a captain bonus as it fully makes or breaks your team to get that one right.

New Week Limited Lineups!
I feel for the limited teams that I actually have a chance with the Champion Team I managed to put up which all include ex Jupiler League players at pretty high bonus Percentages. Aside from that I once again put up my Antwerp stack but they are in poor form right now and Janssen is suspended who can't really be replaced. Overall too few lineups where all players are at 90% chance to be a starter.
Player Transfers & Reward Card
The one card that I won was an Under 23 Goalkeeper from besiktas who doesn't play but was on the bench in the European match. Currently he's going for just 2$ so I rather keep him in my collection and wait.
Season 2024-2025 Owned Collection Value
It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.
I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly.

From the looks of it, it will be hard to outearn the decrease in card values as more and more are being put up for sale on the market.
Conclusion
I'm still having a ton of fun with Sorare and I'm highly looking forward to the coming weekend. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.
