Simone Biles criticizes food in the Olympic Village: "It's not real French cuisine"
The food served at the Olympic Village in Paris has been something to talk about. American gymnast Simone Biles, after winning the team gold medal last Tuesday, spared no criticism of the quality of the meals offered to the athletes.
Since the start of the Olympic Games, meals at the Village have been the target of criticism among committees. Athletes on the Brazilian team, for example, complained about the lack of protein replacement, such as meat.
The Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) confirmed the problem and provided replenishment with protein-rich foods. Furthermore, the German delegation criticized the lack of organization of the service, while the United Kingdom opted to hire its own cook.
