    @taskmaster4450le - the Mets got themselves a decent hitter tonight. Jesse Winker from the Nationals. This guy had a rough time when he was traded to Seattle but when he played for the Reds I always like the kid. He plays with that Bader energy and can hit much better than Hader. He's also having a decent year with the Nats:

    I saw the move when I woke up. Good deal. He is better than Stewart and a fan favorite.

    Doesnt cost much and does make the roster better.

    So far 3 decent moves that help the team with low cost.

    That is what needs to happen. Maybe Peterson can be on. He tends to throw a lot of pitches, leaving him exiting early. Hopefully he goes 6 today.

        I doubt Stearns is done. There is at least one more deal that will be completed.

        Probably along the same lines, not destroying the future for this year.

        They need a starter in the worst way but definitely not at a huge cost.

        I think they end up going back end...someone who doesnt excite the fan base but will be a quality move.

        Stearns is improving the present team without sacrificing the future.

                Sad to see that Kodai Senga is likely done for the season. It seems the calf is much worse than they thought.

                  The package to acquire Carlos Estévez is pitching prospects Sam Aldegheri and George Klassen, as Jeff Passan reported. Both were having breakout seasons in the minors.

                  Phillies are ceasing their season. Above average move. One the Mets should have made. Arghhh.

                  With that said giving up breakout prospects for a reliever is always risky especially if you don’t win it all.
