No, it's not a label it's an action. In the same way creating is an act. Yes you can freely do both. However, on the internet, most consume. That's the natural flow.
I think this is the biggest taboo to be broken if you want, of course... But I don't see any problem with just consuming it in this case on Hive.
Now... I'm more used to INLEO, for example, I don't have the same interest in spending hours in front of Instagram.

Yes. Trying to make people see "consuming" doesn't make you a "lesser human". Trying to make people see how it's not creators vs consumers. They compliment one another and are both equally important.

Well, I agree with you. The "reader" when commenting on content does not make it less than the content creator.
I also have the same thought that both have their importance and relevance within the platform.
One would not exist without the other, for example.
What is music without ears? What is art without eyes? This isn't anything new. Even the busker knows to go to the busy street corner instead of the empty field. And one of the main reasons people leave here is due to lack of audience.
