I only traveled once by plane. It was cool and it's a good feeling to be at heights, but this news of plane crashes always makes me sad and the fear returns.

Yeah. Well when you consider how many die in car accidents around the world each year, over 1 million, it tells the story.
Thinking and analyzing from this point, the plane really is much safer.
I heard that some patents are already "created", but none were taken seriously to save the people on the plane with this type of accident.
Who knows? A lot of patents are bought up and shelved because the new innovation is a threat to the existing business model.
That's what I think... The powerful wouldn't let this be public and also as an example of medicines to cure cancer, for example.
With all our technology and science, we still don't have a more "practical" way to prevent more people from dying from cancer.
Corporations do not care about helping out. They only look to see what they can get in revenues. This goes with the government. There are instances of it stepping in and taking patents away from companies to keep things off the market.
I remember how many inventions Nikola Tesla had at the time and the government confiscated a large part of his patents.
After his death, all work literally disappeared.
