Chinese scientists create 'ultrafast' chip that could accelerate global technology war
Chinese scientists have created an ultrafast analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for military applications, which can reduce the response time of electronic warfare receivers from nanoseconds to picoseconds, the research team said.
The new device, developed by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), promises to increase the speed of detection and response to radar signals by 91.46%, providing a significant strategic advantage to the Chinese military.
