I would love a top 5 best movies too, you could totally do a post Vincent. And maybe top 5 black and white movies. As not many watch those anymore, but I would love to know your opinion.

As I just told Tarazkp, in a reply, I lost the fun of writing about ( other people's ) movies. Let me think of a list of 5 amazing black and white movies...
M (1931), Sunset Boulevard (1950), The Night of the Hunter (1955), (Psycho (1960), The Elephant Man (1980).
I could easily come up with a lot more but here's a start ;<)
Thanks so much Vincent, I will remember this and watch them. I think that as in any domain any specialist can often become tired to be asked the same questions all over again hahaha. So I truly appreciate that you have made the mental effort to give me this list.
I wish you a lovely New Year and a better happier 2022 Vincent 🥰🤗
Wise words. I also think that it might be slightly traumatic for me, as - especially in the last couple of years of studying film - I struggled a lot, mentally. It was probably the start of my depression.
By the way...
This link might be useful, if you've got some time to spare...
I made some lists here, a year or two ago, with dozens of my favorite movies:

@tarazkp you might want to check this out too, for many more movie recommendations ;<)
Happy new year's eve and new year!
🤗
Wow I am impressed, you have quite a repertoire , I feel like I have a lot to catch up lol. I LOVED Gilda, there is something in the feminine energy of the female actresses which is unique to that period of time.
I admire that you studied so much and in the same time I think that we can both agree that no golden job is worth your mental health. I think that your inner peace comes first. Maybe going back to film suggestions pushed a sensitive button, if it did well be sure that this long list will keep me occupied for a long time lol
Happy 2022 Vincent, with lots of love and peace🤗
I really enjoyed Gilda too and was mesmerized by Rita Hayworth. What a powerful woman, in the best way possible.
I watched Gilda, in cinema, while studying film ( as part of a class in film history or film analysis ). My favorite two subjects. I also became pretty obsessed with the film noir genre, around that same time.
And yes, ( mental ) health is paramount.
I guess so. Although, it's not necessarily film suggestions, it's more the blogging about them ;>)
Feliz ano novo, amiga! I wish you an amazing 2022 full of love, energy and creativity
Feliz ano Vincent haha! Thanks so much and I throw back the same great wishes to you too! Have lots of love and creative energy in your life, you deserve it🤗🤗
