The political scene today is a nightmare. Both presidential candidates are terrible, but I can't stand Donald Trump so hearing that crypto scammers are targeting MAGA supporters is pretty funny. I think it's funny because Trump is the biggest con man there is so I'm surprised his supporters are still solvent after the amount of money he has already grifted from them.
Last month, former president and convicted felon Donald Trump announced that his campaign would accept donations in cryptocurrency. In the weeks that followed, the cybercrime detection firm Netcraft found dozens of scam websites seeking to target Trump supporters and swindle them out of their crypto. Scammers were able to front run the announcement and registered domains with common misspellings, hoping to capture supporters intending to access donaldjtrump.com. One domain registered to donalbjtrump.com was a near perfect replica of the actual Trump campaign website.
A second surge of fake websites appeared immediately after Trump’s May 30 felony conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records to pay off the porn star Stormy Daniels. In the hours after his conviction, the campaign raised more than $34 million in donations. Cybercriminals seemed to anticipate this interest, and were ready to capitalize on the donations pouring into the Trump campaign in the wake of the verdict!
Moral of the story don't donate to a campaign and anything associated with Trump is likely a scam!

I have almost been scammed it's easy to do as these scammers get more advanced.
Some sheep will just follow blindly. My family is all about some Trump and think he's the only person who will save us. I am like if you think that way, then you have already lost, lol.

Haha, that is pretty funny. I had heard that he was taking donations in crypto, but I didn't hear that other places were mirroring the sites. Very clever on their part honestly. I wonder how many people got involved in something they don't understand and got rekt. Honestly, they will likely never know.
Yeah it seems like these MAGA folks are easily scammed so I keep seeing things like this are going to happen.
Boomers still run the countries here and it sure is a sad state of affairs. Virtue-signalling do-nothings or straight up convicted felons as your choice.
I would laugh heartily at the situation if our country didn’t share a long border with them and our choices were any better!
It's pretty sad the average age of government no longer matches the demographics which is a real issue now a days. These old bags need to step down and let the country progress.
