I can only hope MAGA feels betrayed by this news. I can't say if Trump’s actions represent genuine commitment towards embracing progressive work opportunities across our borders or merely tactical posturing. I feel like things will get interesting as he takes office and may need to rethink some of my up coming trades. I was thinking we would get a fallout between Trump and Elon which would cause Tesla stock to tumble. I was planning to short Tesla for that breakup, but I might hold off on that trade for now.

It is surprising that Trump has reversed his decision. Obviously, someone convinced him. He probably agreed on this issue with his supporters before the election. A disagreement between Trump and Elon would be against Trump in the long run.
It is. I would not expect him to go against his base, but at this point he's already elected so he can do what ever he wants. I think it will be wild to see what he actually supports when he is not trying to pander to MAGA. I hope he reverse his course and hurts those who elected him that would be karma.

I've heard that there is pretty much a civil war happening right now inside of the MAGA group. Not the sort of infighting I would have expected. This actually might be good because if Harris had one, they likely would have unified against her.
These two are friends and will definitely do something good for America
