I would recommend an introduction post that will mention a few things about how you created an account here and what you will be writing about. This will help people to get to know you, see you are a real person and not a bot or a spam person.
You can also take a look at what other people are writing about and engage in other users posts.
To write a long form post, you need to click on Publish > Write a Post
