If you were able to pay for everything with crypto then changing crypto into cash wouldn't be an option as it is cash. Seeing this type of advert will disappear soon enough as more options for using crypto are introduced.
What I find quite incredible is the mindset that people still have with crypto and this has to change at some point. many of us got into crypto to earn more crypto and the hope of having financial freedom at some point. This is an almost certainty for many as crypto increases in value making our bags that much bigger.
The idea of making loads of crypto and then funneling it back into fiat doesn't exactly excite me as you are going against everything you have been working for. I know I haven't spent 1c of my crypto as it just felt wrong and I am now changing my mind set and open to it these days. I think when you actually have some value then spending some on whatever you require is just normal. Next year I plan to travel and using the AVA options for flights and hotels is a no brainer.
Like many of us I am hoping this is still so early that most of my bags will do 10 or 100x from here still and definitely not banking on it if it doesn't quite pan out. Chances are some will though and hoping that Hive will at least hit a consistent $5 or $10 in a few years time. Anything is possible and the problem up until now has been what companies and places actually accept crypto.
The Walmart story was raised again in an article about the company getting organised so that crypto would be a payment option. This is a definite as all retailers cannot afford to ignore what is happening in the crypto space. We all know where we are heading and even the fudders know, but won't openly admit this.

Up until now it has been more high end car dealerships accepting crypto but soon we will see more of the average Joe cars having crypto being accepted.
Within the next 24 months we will see new ways of doing things that have never been available up until now. Mortgages, insurances, car payments and your daily needs like groceries all accepting some form of crypto payment. In Spain we saw how the government is pushing the mortgages and insurance via crypto payments and they will not be alone as others will definitely follow. Business is business and missing out is going to force companies into joining or they will miss out.
This will make no difference if you have one of the crypto cards as they are mainly visa anyway.
The exchanges have their debit cards freely available plus others like Coti will be leading the charge to attract our business. Coti have already highlighted that the services they will provide will be the same as what banks offer now except all in crypto. This is the big steps crypto requires to change the mindset of not only investors in crypto, but the masses who are yet to join.

I haven't actually looked at the options in years but back when I was accepting BTC at a business that I owned, the process was unfortunately quite complicated. I am sure it has changed a lot since then but since Thailand goes back and forth on if they are going to let crypto be legal at all and Vietnam bans it for all purchases, i'm not gonna find that out over here.

I learned that this is a word. I have honestly never heard or seen that word used before.
its really visible, though the reality is not yet captured within my region, I hope to see that soon
