Endless Possibilities

I was reading @acidyo's post yesterday were he mentions that he has been quiet since the move from Steem to Hive as it had affected him that much. I get that and understand as many of us thought the same about that place. Your mindset was set in such a way to suddenly change the thought process is very difficult.

When something has a personal attachment like your account does it is more than just an investment. My Hive account represents not just the value but the time and passion that has gone into growing it. In some ways it embodies who we are as a person depending on how much effort you have made.

When I first joined the block chain I was looking for something and had no idea what I had found and only appreciated and understood that after spending time here. I have so much belief in this place that if I enjoy this place so much others will as well and it is only a matter of time before it takes off in popularity.

We all have our reasons for being here and have dreams of doing well financially at some point. Right now at 15 cents you would have to probably spend a decade grafting to have any hope of a passive income that was meaningful.

The funny thing is we know that can change very quickly and believe like some others here that these months and years of effort could be the best earning years of your life once things turn around. In my mind the 10 Hive you make off a post is still 10 Hive and at some point Hive will have dollar signs in front of it and it all depends on what effort you have put in.

To be successful you have to give something a chance and to give it your best shot so slowing down has never been an option. When I first joined the first thought was I had missed out by being too late which has always been the case with me. The truth is no one knows when the masses will arrive and knowing what we all know it is a mystery why they aren't here yet.

The way the economies are around the world right now it is like a perfect storm which should be driving new users to Hive. Everyone I know is looking for another income source yet they are not here. This tells me many still don't understand what this place is and many have no clue what is here. Imagine if others knew what we knew how many people would be on here today.

Every person is different however and to succeed you have to do your time which we have seen in the past many don't. Hive is not the easiest passive income but it could be the best as the possibilities are endless. I believe educated people will stay because they will see what we see and it is only a matter of time.

Sort:

Hive brings us a lot of opportunities to make passive income from both on the first layer and on the second layer. As usual, only those who maximize the opportunities and give it their best get good returns.

Looking the economies today, Hive platform is a huge blessing to many.

It was a definite shift to move from Steemit to Hive. Not in terms of content, but just wrapping your mind around the fact that it was something new. You didn't know who was still going to be active or what was going to happen. It was sort of like starting over. I think Hive needs to make some bigger moves if they want to stay relevant. More marketing. Some kind of set plan. I don't know.
